  An incredibly overhyped tyre. In terms of grip, old Pilot Sports are better, and that's regardless of season or temperature. In fact, they're downright awful above 7 degrees. They went on my AWD Mk7.5 Golf R estate and only improved the comfort mildly, but I switched to Conti Sport Contact 7. I had a Mk8 Fiesta ST that these also went on and they ruined the experience completely, but there were limited options being Pilot 4S, Conti Sport 7 and Pirelli PZ5. It's a budget option and nothing like a 4S. You're still better off spending the money on Michelin's new gen '5' model.

  These tyres are amazing. There is even traction in rain, being wet conditions. I have had Pirelli PZero (A for wet, F for fuel) and Michelin Pilot Supersports in the same dimensions. Personally, I think Pilot Sport 4s are better than both, especially the PZero, which is bad with grip until it warms up.
